ARCH Academy relocated to its brand new 67 wooded acre campus in spring of 2020. ARCH Academy is committed to its 35 plus year tradition of providing the highest quality of care possible in a cost-effective manner (40 plus in-network insurance companies), for adolescents and their families who are at risk for, or suffering from substance abuse or substance dependency issues, in addition to common co-occurring issues. Treatment encompasses the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of recovery by offering professional excellence, the principles of the Twelve Steps, proven clinical intervention and a safe, loving environment. We specialize in adolescent males ages 14-18 who have a primary addiction diagnosis and common cooccurring issues such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, low self-esteem, trauma, and grief. Our boys start off in a 30-day primary intensive program and transition to the traditional program with progress dependent lengths of stay up to 6 months. ARCH Academy provides a combination of recovery/education and therapy delivered through individual, group, didactic and experiential modalities. Therapeutic approaches include CBT, DBT, 12 steps, Trauma informed interventions, EMDR and other proven approaches. Our program also utilizes experiential and adventure-based programming: Zip-line, high and low ropes course, equine therapy, music assisted therapy, art therapy, pottery, canoeing, hiking, and other activities geared towards reaching this population. Family Intensive program provided. School services are provided on site by a TN State licensed school on campus. Our teaching principle, teachers, and tutors provide a combination of on-line curriculum and direct instruction. The facility is set up to have a campus feel with comfortable residential cabins, dining hall with Chef prepared meals, medical unit with onsite nursing and psychiatric services, work out gym, basketball court, and several outdoor areas for relaxing, meditation, and soaking up the benefits of nature.
