True North Evolution

True North Evolution is a comprehensive short-term therapeutic wellness program in Waitsfield, VT designed to support young adults (18-25) experiencing mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and executive functioning deficits.  We provide a thorough assessment, thoughtful intervention, and coordinated transition planning through multiple weekly therapy sessions, life skills development, medication management as needed in a holistic wellness model. True North students experience life in a beautiful resort town in the Mad River Valley of Vermont, where they enjoy abundant opportunities to participate in seasonal outdoor adventures such as skiing, golf, mountain biking, and paddle boarding.  They also access all of the amenities of the local community and nearby cities for a wide range of activities that support their development and success across all areas of their lives. Our therapeutic wellness program serves young adults ages 18 and up and their families.  Our model is intended to inspire and empower students to make positive choices and build strategies for a healthy life. Areas of focus include nutrition, exercise, sleep, interpersonal relationships, and mental health.  Our team creates a safe, supportive environment where students can explore their personal strengths and skills, while working to challenge, limiting thoughts, behaviors, and beliefs.  True North also provides exceptional parent support and options for ongoing coaching services after the experience.
