Description of Services : Ana Moreno, LMHC, MCAP, CIP, CAI, CDWF, ICADC is a therapist, interventionist, consultant and educator in Miami, FL. Ana is currently the Co-Founder of R & A Therapeutic Consultants, a Miami practice offering therapeutic consulting and interventions in both English and Spanish. She was the Co-Founder and Clinical Director of Family Recovery Specialists, an Intensive Outpatient Substance Abuse treatment program. She was also Associate Clinical Director of Lucida's Multicultural Program. Ana has been working in the mental health field for more than 18 years. Ms. Moreno enjoys utilizing her own multicultural background and upbringing to help guide families through the treatment and recovery process. She earned her undergraduate degree from Florida International University and her graduate degree from St. Thomas University. Ana is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a Master's level Certified Addictions Professional, a Qualified Clinical Supervisor in the state of Florida, a Certified Intervention Professional and a Certified ARISE Interventionist. She is also a certified facilitator for The Daring Way curriculum, a shame resilience approach effectively utilized in working with individuals recovering from substance use disorders.
