2024 Southeast Regional Conference

2024 Southeast Regional Conference

10/21/2024 - 10/22/2024

Description

Join us this year, October 21st - 2nd in Greenville, SC for the NATSAP Southeast Regional Conference. Our conference theme this year is Technology, The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly: Technology and Teens in the 21st Century.

Hashtags. Algorithms. Viral reality. Rage bait. The technology, and the negative impacts, are moving faster than most of us can keep up. It’s not a stretch to say we need our tweens to help set the blinking clock on the home VCR. How can parents, teachers, clinicians, and professionals help a growing media-savvy, youth-oriented, consumer-driven culture balance the appropriate interactions through content management? Join NATSAP’s Southeast Regional Conference as we tackle The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly: Technology and Teens in the 21st Century.

Some sample topics for presentations:

  • How technology can be supportive to specific diagnoses
  • How technology can be dangerous for specific diagnoses
  • What parents should know about social media, gaming, and other addictive technologies
  • How can technology help to improve mental health?

This year's conference will also feature program tours and we already have 20+ referring professionals signed up! You won't want to miss this year's Southeast Regional Conference in downtown Greenville!
