Description of Services : Brendan O'Neil, MSW began working with youth programming in 1996 and received his Masters in Social Work in 2008. Brendan brings crucial skill sets garnered from working in leading program milieus. With a clinical background in the residential, outpatient, and psychiatric fields, his experiences include service as an educator, residential therapist, psychiatric crisis clinician, and program administrator. He has worked in therapeutic wilderness, private schools, and at the college level. Brendan also has an extensive background in program admissions and therapeutic experiential education program development, facilitation, and management. Brendan brings clinical expertise in adolescent development, young adult development, family and systems theory, the strengths perspective, and cognitive behavioral therapies such dialectical behavioral therapy and rational emotive therapy. Brendan has contributed consistently to the Social Work field as an adjunct professor at his alma mater since 2010 and is currently pursuing an interdisciplinary Ph.D. in Education and Human Development at Lesley University, Cambridge MA.Consulting Services:Adolescent and Young Adult family and program support.Triage, evaluation, and supportive service recommendations.Ongoing support throughout the placement period.Aftercare and transition planning.
