Jason is the owner of Awakened Shadow Coaching and host of the Reflective Parent Podcast and Support Group. As a relational coach with a practical approach, Jason has been helping families heal all over the country as a Parent and Recovery Coach for nearly 20 years.
Jason is a graduate of the Hakomi Method and has obtained over 100 hours in advanced Attachment Therapy with an Integrative Approach. He has extensive experience using the Parallel Process in Therapeutic Wilderness, Residential and Therapeutic Boarding Schools, Transitional Programs, Foster Care, and Wrap-around services for children returning from therapeutic intervention.
With over a decade of recovery, Jason continues assisting families in the recovery space while remaining a lifelong student striving for excellence in the coaching field. His focus is helping families deepen connection, open lines for healthy communication, and build community.

Description of Services : I offer both individual coaching sessions and comprehensive family packages designed to support parents navigating their teen's return from treatment. My services include developing customized Home Agreements that provide consistency and structure, while empowering parents to show up confidently in their parenting role. Using the Hakomi Method and mindful somatic tools, I help parents identify their own childhood wounds that may be contributing to communication breakdowns with their teens. This approach not only improves family dynamics but can also help families communicate more effectively when preparing for program intervention, priming them to work skillfully with therapists. I specialize in supporting neurodivergent individuals, families affected by addiction (whether in active recovery or not), and couples struggling to connect. Services are available as single sessions for targeted support or multi-session packages for comprehensive family transformation.
