Description of Services : Dr. Marilyn Engelman has been in the education field for over 35 years as a public school teacher, administrator, university faculty member, and as a private practitioner. She has taught assessment courses and courses in learning needs at the university level at Clark University, Tufts University, and Simmons College as well as presented learning disabilities research and models at national conferences and has co-chaired several regional conferences focusing on learning disabilities and AD/HD. In addition, she has evaluated thousands of students. As a member of the Independent Educators Consulting Association (IECA) Dr. Engelman has placed hundreds of students in therapeutic settings, special needs schools, traditional boarding schools and colleges and universities. In her spare time, Dr. Engelman enjoys traveling, light hiking, and spending time in Maine.
