Within the educational community, Marylou is known for the sound, informed advice she provides to students and families evaluating private secondary school options -- across diverse backgrounds, abilities and interests. In addition to traditional boarding school programs, she also works with special needs, therapeutic and summer placement.Marylou has served as president of the Small Boarding School Association and serves on several school and association boards. She has also spoken at national and regional conferences on education, financial aid, and reasons why a boarding school is chosen. She has written articles for national organizations and has often been quoted and interviewed by the media.
