About
CooperRiis is a residential healing community located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. Since 2003, we've been helping adults living with mental health challenges achieve their highest levels of functioning and fulfillment through a powerful recovery approach combining trusted clinical therapies, community work and service, education, and integrative wellness practices. CooperRiis offers a full continuum (four levels) and two entry points into care. CooperRiis at Asheville is a more clinically intensive, shorter-term program (30-90 days) that accepts out-of-network insurance benefits. The Mill Spring Farm campus is a longer-term program (3-6 six months) and is a therapeutic work-based program. From these two residential campuses, a resident may then transfer into our Asheville Community Program (transitional living), with five different houses available in the Greater Asheville area. Our final level of care is CooperRiis Support for community members who are able to live on their own in Asheville independently, but still require a connection to our services to support their mental health. CooperRiis is a co-ed community that treats adults 18+ who are diagnosed with Anxiety Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Dual Diagnosis, Major Depressive Disorders, Personality Disorders, Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome (PTSD), and Schizophrenia & Schizoaffective Disorders. www.cooperriis.org 828.894.7140. CooperRiis is a non-profit 501C3 organization.
