About
Oxbow Academy specializes in treating students 10-18 years old who struggle with problematic sexual behaviors. Our clinical team members are CSAT certified in Sex Addiction work and we use the trauma addiction model with a strong emphasis in experiential learning. We are a fully accredited academic program which uses a bended learning model with accredited teachers on site and in the class rooms. All students who come to Oxbow go through an evaluation process, our Evaluation House, to determine their needs and insure that they would benefit from sex specific treatment at Oxbow. We further specialize in working with neuro-diverse students, our East House, neuro- typical students, our West House, and latency age students, our Oxbow Junior House. We also provide transitional programing, our Independent House, for those students preparing to leave treatment at Oxbow and step down or return home. Oxbow Academy is a NATSAP research designated treatment facility that is also accredited by TJC, The Joint Commission.
