Sedona Sky Academy is a unique Therapeutic Boarding School located near the beautiful, inspirational mecca of Sedona, Arizona. Offering specially designed services for both Elementary, Middle School, and High School age students, Sedona Sky Academy is uniquely structured to meet the Academic and Therapeutic needs of students from 8-13 years of age and 14-18 years of age. With our Trauma Informed Model, SSA provides a relational approach to addressing issues of anxiety, depression, attachment & adoption, trauma, school avoidance, substance use and family conflict in an intentional, solution focused, caring and safe setting. Additional Therapeutic Interventions include: DBT, EMDR, Mindfulness, Resilience, Equine Therapy, and Experiential Therapy. Family Therapy & Parent Workshops provide education, support and guidance for a successful and healthy home and family system. Academics are traditional, teacher led coursework including a variety of experiential arts offered throughout the school year. College Preparatory coursework and focused academic support is provided for each student. Accreditations & Licensing include: Joint Commission, State of Arizona Behavioral Health, NIPSA (National Independent Private School Association), COGNIA (Academic Accreditation), SEVIS & NATSAP (Full Member)
